Bowl week bike commute

It’s not often that one can bike commute in Michigan the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Most of the time it is either too snowy, too icy, or too damn cold (particularly the wind chill). Despite temperatures in the low 20’s, I rode today, thanks to the lack of snow or ice. It felt great and is an added bonus to an already productive bike commuting year (138 roundtrip bike commutes). Aside from riding today, I was able to bike commute every Monday in the month of December.

Here’s to another great bike commuting year in 2015 – Happy New Year to all.

It’s absolutely impossible to bike during the winter, so do NOT tell the Finns!
