Riding the Maple City Greenway

0716141546Kathy and I spent much of yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon riding three segments of the Maple City Greenway in Goshen, Indiana. They include the one mile long Winona Interurban Trail linking Goshen College and Waterford Mills, the two-mile long Center City Trail linking Goshen College with downtown Goshen, and the 2.75 mile long Millrace Canal Trail. It had been about 10 years since i was last on the Millrace Canal Trail and a number of very nice improvements have been added, including off-street parking at each Trailhead as well as the midpoint and an impressive new underpass beneath Plymouth Avenue (SR 119).

Kudos to the City of Goshen, Goshen College, and area residents for being so supportive of active transportation. Your efforts are very impressive!
