Summer delights – blue waters, ice cream, and bikes

Three of my favorite summer delights in this photo from last evening – the blue waters of a northern lake (Lake Lansing in this case), a cup of ice cream (QD’s caramel cashew in this case), and our two Trek bicycles parked on the dock as we enjoyed the refreshing evening weather. Ahhh…nice!

Ahh yes! It was a lovely evening for a bike ride. I threw in a kayak outing on Lake Lansing (courtesy of the MSU Sailing Center) with my daughter for good measure 🙂 We opted for a mango treat from the new Mexican restaurant inside J’s Cone Zone across from Hasletts’ QD.
